Today we remember John Donne, who died #OnThisDay in 1631.
This copy of Abelard, carrying Donne's inscription and motto, is now in Sion College Library. The book was purchased by the College thanks to the bequest of £200 made by Elizabeth Hicks, Viscountess Campden in 1643.
